Project Description:
VICC provided comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the World Bank Group Headquarters in Afghanistan under a multi-year contract. The scope encompassed full lifecycle facility support for a high-security, mission-critical diplomatic and development facility operating in a complex environment.
Services included preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems; operation and maintenance of backup power systems (generators, UPS, fuel systems); and continuous monitoring of building systems to ensure operational readiness and resilience.
VICC also supported security-related infrastructure maintenance, including access control systems, CCTV, perimeter security elements, and hardened building components. Additional responsibilities included utilities management, vendor coordination, spare parts procurement, compliance documentation, and emergency response support.
This contract required sustained performance in a high-risk environment, coordination with international stakeholders, and uninterrupted facility availability to support World Bank operations.
